Areopagus Magazine
Subscription rates

One of the goals of Areopagus is to give new writers the opportunity to see their work in print, perhaps for the first time - something a Small Press magazine is in a unique position to be able to do. This has been an encouragement to many new writers, who have then gone on to try their hand at submitting to other publications. Although we don't have the resources to pay for published items, we can send an additional copy of the magazine, if requested by the contributor. Copyright is always retained by the author, but unless otherwise instructed we have an agreement that any item published in the magazine may be read aloud (but not published) in any church or Christian meeting without prior permission being sought. Please note: because of the small budget, Areopagus is only able to publish contributions from subscribers to the Magazine. Unsolicited submissions from non-subscribers cannot therefore be considered at this time.

  • The current subscription rates for the printed magazine are: UK £14; W.Europe £17;  USA $24.
  •  The subscription rates for the Ezine (electronic version) are:     £4 Sterling p.a. (All countries). Subscribers to this scheme get the magazine sent by email (approx 1 mb) each quarter.

If you would like to see a free sample copy of the Ezine, please click on this link

If you wish to subscribe, to either the paper magazine or the ezine, please click here:  Subscribe to Areopagus.  Both Paypal and Google Checkout are available if you want to subscribe online, or we can accept cheques by post. If you want to pay by cheque please still click on this link to subscribe and follow the instructions including 'add to basket'. Once you have clicked on 'Proceed to Checkout' and then completed all the address details, confirmation etc there will be a 'Send payment by post' option to click, (instead of paying online). This will send us notification and you will receive an invoice by email shortly.

Areopagus and the Internet.

Subscribers to Areopagus may submit manuscripts by e-mail if they wish. For non-UK subscribers this is in fact the prefered method.
